Overview
999 Clinical Practitioner (Telephone Triage Nurse / Paramedic) Crawley & Medway (On-site). Flexible Hours Available (Up to Full-Time). From £24.93 per hour (LTD). Enhancements for Nights & Weekends.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct remote clinical assessments for patients accessing the 999 service
* Provide onward referrals or safe home management advice using clinical decision support systems
* Support and coach Emergency Medical Advisors (EMAs) and dispatch teams within the EOC
* Clinically assess, prioritise, and manage incidents to ensure patient safety and appropriate resource allocation
* Communicate effectively with patients, carers, colleagues, and healthcare professionals
* Use strong negotiation skills to coordinate care and facilitate appropriate referrals
* Act as a clinical leader within the EOC, including making safeguarding and capacity/consent decisions
Requirements
* Recent experience in a 999 Clinical Advisor role
* Active NHS Pathways training within the last 6 months
* Willingness to attend internal training
* Nurses must hold Adult Nursing qualification
* Ability to work on-site in Crawley or Medway (within commutable distance)
