We’re looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to work in specialist SEN schools across Aylesbury, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including autism, SEMH, and complex learning needs. This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same – but every day is impactful.
What you’ll be doing
Delivering engaging and accessible lessons tailored to individual learning needs
Supporting pupils with EHCPs and additional learning needs
Creating a positive, structured and supportive classroom environment
Working closely with Teaching Assistants and support staff
Supporting pupils with daily routines and personal care where required
Providing planning and preparation where needed to ensure high-quality teaching
Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, independence and life skills
⭐ What we’re looking for
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with SEN pupils (or a strong passion to work in specialist settings)
Comfortable supporting pupils with personal care needs
Happy to support with planning and preparation
Available to work 5 days per week
Patient, adaptable and able to build strong relationships with pupils
