New Business Development Executive – Mercer Marsh
Hybrid role: minimum of three days per week in office, with regular travel to engage with clients.
Responsibilities
* Identify and engage with potential clients in the SME sector
* Assess client needs and provide tailored solutions
* Deliver bespoke sales presentations and proposals
* Negotiate and close deals, ensuring alignment with client needs and company policies
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Collate and manage the sales pipeline, providing accurate forecasts
* Stay updated on market trends, regulations, and competitor activity
* Achieve sales targets and continuously improve product knowledge
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards, maintaining accurate documentation
Qualifications
* Experience in healthcare or group risk sales is advantageous but not essential
* Strong sales skills with a passion for client service
* Confidence and a collaborative, team‑oriented approach
* Excellent relationship, communication, and time‑management abilities
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and willing to learn internal systems
* Adherence to established procedures
