About the Role
As a Business Development Manager (Apprenticeships), you will be responsible for generating new employer partnerships and promoting a full suite of funded and commercial training solutions, with a strong focus on:
Your key responsibilities will include:

Selling Apprenticeships to Levy and non-Levy employers, identifying opportunities for workforce upskilling and talent development.

Developing new employer relationships and growing existing partnerships across the Midlands region.
*
Promoting the full range of Apprenticeship standards and funded training programmes.
*
Understanding employer pain points and aligning them with suitable training solutions.
*
Managing pipelines, forecasting performance, and ensuring apprenticeship starts and revenue targets are achieved.
*
Representing the organisation at employer meetings, sector events, and networking opportunities.
*
Working closely with internal recruitment and delivery teams to ensure a seamless employer and learner journey.
This is a home-based role with travel across the East and West Midlands.
Ideal Candidate
You’ll thrive in this role if you are commercially minded, target-driven, and passionate about Apprenticeships and employer engagement.
You will bring:

Proven experience in selling Apprenticeships or delivering Levy employer engagement within the Skills or Employability sector.
*
Strong knowledge of Apprenticeship funding, Levy utilisation, and employer workforce needs.
*
Experience promoting AEB, ASF, or Skills Bootcamps (desirable but not essential).
*
A track record of meeting sales, start, or revenue targets.
*
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
*
Confidence travelling across the Midlands region to meet employers and partners.
