About Our Client
Our client is a global organisation with Head Offices based in Hitchin. They are committed to delivering high-quality services to their customers while maintaining operational excellence in their customer service department. Due to continued growth they are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Area Controller to deliver top tier customer service to their valued customers. They are open to candidates with varying experience levels, provided you are able to display a strong level of empathy and customer service. The role is based full time in Hitchin Monday to Friday.
Job Description
3. Manage and respond to customer service queries promptly and efficiently.
4. Coordinate and schedule operational tasks within the customer service team.
5. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of customer interactions and resolutions.
6. Full oversight of assigned customer accounts
7. Schedule and dispatch work to Field Service Engineers via CRM system and update customers accordingly
8. Processing and invoicing jobs & raising credit notes
9. Spare parts ordering if required
10. Collaborate with internal departments to address customer requirements.
11. Monitor and maintain service standards in line with company policies.
12. Provide operational reports and updates to senior management as needed.
13. Support the implementation of new processes to improve service delivery.
14. Assist in handling escalations to ensure customer satisfaction.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Customer Service Area Controller should have:
15. Previous experience in customer service ideally within a B2B environment (not essential)
16. A strong ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
17. Proficiency in using customer service software
18. Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
19. Able to display a high level of empathy and uphold customer centric values at all times
20. A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
21. A keen attention to detail and a customer-oriented mindset.
