The Kettering driver team are looking for a Driver Instructors to join their Talent Pool.
As a Driver Instructor, you will:
* Undertake instructing of classroom, practical and technical driver training and the accumulation of hours for train handling
* Carry out Driver safety critical assessments to ensure we maintain our high standards
* Complete necessary training documentation
* Act as an ambassador for exemplary Driver behaviours
About you:
You must be a qualified Train driver with at least 4 years' experience and looking to contribute to the success of the Kettering Driver Team through great coaching. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a high standard of technical and operational knowledge with excellent communication skills. You will have the ability to work well under pressure, to prioritise and to demonstrate high levels of concentration and focus. You must also have a willingness to share, demonstrate and offer guidance, on traction, railway rules and local railway practices and procedures.
Part of the role will include carrying out regular assessments, you must ideally hold a L11/L12 qualification or equivalent, although support to achieve this will be provided.
