HVAC Construction Manager - Pharmaceutical - 12-Month Contract
Our client is a leading specialist in providing project management, cost management, and construction management services. They are undertaking projects across Europe and the UK, and this is a fantastic opportunity to join their team!
We have an exciting opportunity with this client to help deliver some of the largest and most prestigious developments in Ireland and Europe.
Responsibilities:
* Understand the project schedule as it pertains to HVAC works.
* Monitor the main contractor’s execution of schedule via pull plan, last planner, and other site-based planning activities.
* Advise on works progress to the client schedulers on a weekly basis.
* Maintain daily labour reports and furnish data to the client schedulers.
* Participate with the client engineers and understand deliverables such as System Impact Assessment, Critical Component Impact Assessments, System Boundary Drawings, and Requirement Traceability Matrix.
* Coordinate on-site quality inspections with the client-side engineers, ensuring reports and actions are closed out.
* Monitor and report review outcomes of CCRs and TOPs as they are developed.
* Participate in the project contract team management of change control (FCNs and PCNs) and drive their closure in a timely manner.
* Ensure non-conformances and deviations are minimized and closed out promptly.
* Support system P&ID walkdowns with construction teams and discipline personnel prior to handover.
* Ensure categorization of punch list items, record, and track to completion.
* Support review of all Isometrics, welding logs, weld qualifications, 3rd Party inspections, material verification reports, and ‘Redlining’ exercises.
Qualifications:
* At least 10 years of experience as an HVAC Construction Manager.
* Degree qualified in an Engineering, Technical, or Construction Discipline.
* Tertiary qualification in quality management is advantageous.
* In the absence of a degree, demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in commissioning management gained through an NVQ process or equivalent.
* Ability to demonstrate Continued Professional Development (CPD).
