Syndicate Client Manager
Hybrid, London. £90,000 - £110,000
Main Purpose of Job:
* Syndicate Client Manager plays a pivotal role in nurturing the partnership between client and managed syndicates. Responsible for fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders across syndicates and Lloyd’s.
* Role ensures seamless operations within regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate robust communication between senior syndicate staff and client serving as a primary point of contact for issue resolution and maintaining a connection with Syndicate Board chairs.
* Maintain a deep understanding of syndicate needs and service offering, aligning strategic objectives and seeking cross-sell opportunities within the wider group.
* Partner with the Business Development team through the Lloyd’s Making It happen process to onboard and embed new syndicates into the internal framework. Work with the syndicate, across functions and with Lloyd’s to ensure expectations and processes are clearly defined, understood and operating effectively.
Manage syndicates in transition including:
* Syndicate novating to a new Managing Agency
* Syndicate externally RITC’ing either the full syndicate or certain years of account to another Managing Agency
* Syndicate-in-a-box transitioning to a full syndicate
* Support internal governance framework by participating in Syndicate Boards and committees, providing reports and support to the Head of Client Management.
Key Personal Skills Required:
* understanding of syndicate operations within the Lloyd’s market.
* knowledge of Lloyd’s Managing Agencies responsibilities.
* Experience managing relationships with multiple stakeholders.
