About the Role
A smaller than average 1 form primary school towards the charming area of Sway is looking to recruit a Year 1 teacher starting January 2026. This is a role with full class teacher responsibilities, initially for two terms but could be extended into the following academic year.
You will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing a Year 1 class, working closely with other teaching colleagues to ensure support and consistency. The role includes full teaching responsibilities and offers the opportunity to contribute to wider school life. The school have enthusiastic learners who have excellent behaviour and are proud of their school.

What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Primary Teacher preferably with experience in KS1 and knowledge of the curriculum
* Confident in managing classroom routines and expectations.
* Good behaviour management techniques.
* Skilled in adapting teaching to meet a range of pupil needs, including SEND.
Requirements
* UK-recognised teaching qualification.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
* Compliance with DfE and Safer Recruitment standards.
