We are looking for experienced HCPC registered ODP's and NMC registered staff with Anaesthetic Qualifications and experience and evidence of IELTS at level 7, to expand our amazing team at Eastbourne Hospital in Eastbourne. You will need to have at least 2 years' experience within anaesthetics and ideally have a mentorship qualification. We carry out a wide range of surgery including General Surgery, Orthopaedics, ENT, Gynae, Breast services, Urology, Max Fax, and Trauma/CEPOD.
The Theatre departments at Eastbourne have currently 10 Theatres and we cover duties between Main Theatres, the Day Surgery Unit and the new Sussex Surgical Centre and we are looking for enthusiastic applications to help us on our journey to outstanding, our CQC report was rated as "Good."

Main duties of the job
To support the Department Matrons/Deputy Leads in maintaining an efficient and effective service delivering safe patient care within an environment that promotes a responsive approach to changing healthcare needs. Predominantly day shifts, but will incorporate out of hours, nights and weekend working, should we require.

* A1/D32 D33.
* PACU: Recognised critical care course/module.
* Evidence of relevant CPD / Revalidation documents.
* Evidence of additional relevant multi skilled competencies within the Operating Theatres or PACU or DSU
* Educated to degree level.
* Management/leadership course.
Experience
* Five years experience as a Registered Practitioner within Theatres/ PACU/ DSU demonstrating areas of responsibility and management.
* Multi skilled competencies within the Operating Theatres or PACU or DSU.
Skills
* Effective leadership and people management skills.
* Effective communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
* Able to lead the Multi-disciplinary Team and manage the clinical areas.
