£23,615 pro rata per year, Grade Band 2
Role Overview
This role involves providing catering services at Danetre Hospital. Responsibilities include food preparation, serving, cash handling, and cleaning. Good food knowledge, customer service skills, and hygiene awareness are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Communicate politely and promptly with colleagues and customers
* Ensure timely service in coordination with staff and volunteers
* Follow COSHH regulations and maintain hygiene standards
* Prepare and cook food using catering equipment
* Prepare sandwiches, salads, and desserts
* Assist with ward trolley preparation and delivery
* Monitor food temperatures and record data
* Help prepare buffets and functions
* Complete relevant paperwork
