Sellick Partnership is working with a well-established and respected law firm in Manchester, seeking a Junior Family Solicitor to join their supportive and collaborative family law team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified or early-career solicitor to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of family law matters, working alongside experienced lawyers and developing your expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a varied caseload under supervision, including:
o Divorce and separation
o Financial settlements and disputes
o Children's law matters, including private law cases
o Drafting agreements such as pre- and post-nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements
* Providing excellent client care and clear communication throughout cases
* Assisting with legal research, document preparation, and case management
* Supporting senior solicitors on complex matters
* Participating in business development and networking activities
About You:
* Qualified Solicitor (0-3 years' PQE) with family law experience
* Strong interest in developing a career in family law
* Excellent communication and client management skills
* Organised, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
* Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise
* Experience with Resolution or interest in pursuing accreditation is advantageous
