Set within the heart of Edinburgh, The Caledonian Edinburgh invites guests into beautifully re-imagined bedrooms inspired by Scotland’s landscapes and heritage. We are seeking a Guest Services Agent to help deliver a seamless, refined experience from first arrival to final farewell.
The Person:
* A polished and welcoming professional with a passion for luxury hospitality
* Naturally warm, confident and composed in all guest interactions
* Detail-orientated with strong communication and organisational skills
* Proactive, adaptable and calm under pressure
* Flexible to work across varied shifts, supporting hotel operations.
The Role:
* Deliver a seamless, refined guest journey from arrival to departure
* Act as the first and lasting impression of The Caledonian Edinburgh
* Provide attentive, personalised front-of-house service
* Uphold the hotel’s luxury standards and brand values at all times
* Support the wider Front of House team in exceeding guest expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage check-in and check-out with efficiency, discretion and warmth
* Respond promptly to guest enquiries, resolving requests professionally
* Maintain thorough knowledge of room categories, rates and promotions
* Maximise occupancy and revenue through confident upselling
* Follow all security, cash handling and health and safety procedures.
