An increasing awareness of our local audience and their needs will be shaping the direction at Ham, as we look to grow our supporters and assert ourselves in the competitive London cultural landscape.Click here for more information about this locationAs a Collections Assistant, you’ll be working with a supportive Collections and Interiors team in an inspiring historic setting. You’ll be delivering the day-to-day cleaning and presentation of the interiors and furniture that are part of the house’s history. You will monitor everything from the environmental conditions in a room to any signs of change or damage to the historic collection. You’ll also be keeping accurate records and take part in all aspects of collections management including documentation and cataloging tasks.It's a role that’s all about people as well, so you’ll be talking to visitors about the work you’re doing and the collections you help to look after.
