Healthcare Support Worker - RACE
Exciting opportunity for a staff Nurser to join the RACE Unit/ Older Persons Assessment Unit based at Poole Hospital.
* Older Persons Assessment Unit is newly refurbished and customised to facilitate 24/7 admissions for our ageing community, with capacity for 21 bed spaces.
* Team is always bustling with varied interests; we seek a dynamic, passionate person to lead and empower team members in delivering quality care to our complex elderly community.
* Our aim is to provide all patients with a comprehensive geriatric assessment upon admission, ensuring the right care is delivered at the right time through close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications
* Literacy/Number skills assessment required.
* Completion of a competency‑based workbook or equivalent relevant experience to vocational level 3.

* Acknowledgement of the importance of health promotion and well‑being.
* Knowledge of care procedures, clinical observations, and relevant legislation.
