The Role You’ll be the first line of support for colleagues across the business, providing assistance in person, over the phone, via email, and through Microsoft Teams. Your work will help keep the organisation’s infrastructure running smoothly, and your ability to prioritise tickets sensibly will be important. Your responsibilities will include: * Providing day-to-day IT support across the organisation * Monitoring and prioritising tickets on the service desk * Building and maintaining PC and server hardware * Supporting Microsoft operating systems and Office applications * Troubleshooting Windows environments (and some Linux exposure is a bonus) * Managing user account creation and deletion * Assisting with IT training for new starters * Maintaining networks, software, hardware and ensuring compliance with standards * Working with external suppliers where required * Contributing to ongoing IT projects and recommending service improvements What You’ll Need * Previous experience in an IT Support role * Strong troubleshooting skills and an organised approach to problem-solving * Understanding of networking, email systems and communication technologies * Good written and verbal communication skills — especially when explaining technical issues to non-technical colleagues * Experience with telephony and printers * Analytical thinking and the ability to investigate issues thoroughly * CompTIA A (or similar) is helpful, and support is available if you’d like to work towards a qualification What They Offer This is a company with a clear structure, supportive culture and a commitment to employee development.
