Salary: Up to £42,000 basic per year + bonus
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Vehicle Technician to join our busy, customer‑focused workshop in Newcastle (NE29). This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who takes pride in delivering high‑quality workmanship and providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose, repair and service a wide range of vehicles to manufacturer standards
* Carry out complex mechanical and electrical fault‑finding
* Lead by example, supporting junior technicians and apprentices
* Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and safely
* Complete job cards and maintain accurate service records
* Adhere to all workshop health and safety procedures
* Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers when required
About You
* Fully qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* Proven experience in a senior, diagnostic, or specialist role
* Strong knowledge of modern diagnostics and vehicle systems
* Ability to work independently and support others in the team
* Excellent problem‑solving skills with a methodical approach
* Full UK driving licence
