About The Role
Our Capital Project Services (CPS) team consists of multi-disciplinary professionals with a background in delivering capital projects across sectors, including Aerospace and Defence. We support clients in securing optimum value from their projects and provide expertise to navigate challenging, complex situations. We design and deliver transformative approaches across industries, working with senior leaders to optimise capital programme efficiency and help deliver intended benefits within constrained budgets or challenging circumstances. The team values diverse experiences from project management, engineering or procurement backgrounds, and we welcome other backgrounds that can add value. Candidates must currently hold or be willing to undergo SC/DV clearance.
What Your Days Will Look Like: as a Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping clients solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
Responsibilities
* Proactively assist in the management of several clients, reporting to Senior Managers and above
* Train and lead staff
* Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
* Contribute to the development of your own and your team\'s technical acumen
* Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
* Be actively involved in business development to identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
* Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand
Qualifications / What You’ll Need
* You are a confident communicator able to deliver compelling messages to diverse audiences
* Leadership experience and a strong desire to coach others
* Exceptional technical aptitude and analytical skills; the ability to translate complex issues into clear client solutions
* Passionate about delivery of capital projects with a collaborative mindset
* Strong commercial background with experience in supply chain management, procurement, contract negotiations and contract management
* Strong academic background and industry experience with a commitment to ongoing learning
* Experience in managing contracts, suppliers, or projects with understanding of core delivery principles
* Open to travel, nationally and internationally

* Ability to lead, manage and work effectively within a team to deliver projects
* Desire to build excellent relationships and self-motivation to deliver outputs
* Experience in managing contracts, suppliers or projects with core delivery principles

* Exposure to capital planning and/or asset management; digital transformation / technology consulting
