Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to support two busy fee earners within a well-established conveyancing team in Loughborough. This is a traditional secretarial role requiring strong organisational skills and a solid understanding of the conveyancing process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Audio/copy typing (digital dictation)
2. Drafting and amending legal documents
3. Diary management and general admin support
4. Liaising with clients, solicitors, and third parties
5. Using case management systems and conveyancing portals
6. Supporting exchange and completion processes
Note: No file opening or closing required.
Requirements:
7. 2+ years\' experience in a conveyancing secretary or paralegal role
8. Strong understanding of the conveyancing process and online portals
9. Confident with IT systems and digital dictation
10. Accurate typing and attention to detail essential
11. Experience supporting multiple fee earners
12. Local candidates preferred
Working Hours & Flexibility:
13. Standard hours: 9:00–5:00
14. Some flexibility on start/finish times
15. Full-time: 9:00–5:00 (some flexibility on start/finish)
16. Part-time: Minimum 30 hours/week, must include Friday
17. Office-based role (no hybrid)
