Sales Order Administrator (Wholesale) RMErecruitis delighted to be partnering exclusively with a leading wholesale distributor to recruit aSales Order Administrator. This is a vital role within the companys operations, ensuring that customers receive their orders accurately and on time. As an Administrator, you will not be just entering data; you will be managing the life cycle of a salefrom the initial purchase order through to coordinating with the warehouse for dispatch. Key Responsibilities Sales Order Management:Receiving orders from customers/sales reps via phone and email and accurately logging them into the companys internal system. Account Administration:Checking customer accounts for correct trade pricing, bulk discounts, and credit availability. Inventory Liaison:Monitoring stock levels and communicating with the warehouse team to ensure order fulfillment. Logistics Coordination:Preparing all necessary paperwork, including picking lists, delivery notes for the warehouse team. Customer Point of Contact:Handling inquiries regarding order status, stock arrivals, and providing a high level of service to long-standing and new customers.. Problem Solving: Addressing any order discrepancies or delivery issues quickly and professional. Candidate Requirements Professional Admin Experience:Previous experience in a sales office, wholesale environment, or a busy administrative role is preferred. Attention to Detail:You must be comfortable handling product SKUs and quantities where accuracy is essential. Communication Skills:A confident and clear telephone manner is required for speaking with retail business owners and warehouse staff. IT Proficiency: Ability to learn new software quickly; experience with order management systems or ERPs is an advantage.
