This is an exceptional opportunity to join a well-established private healthcare organisation in the role of Nurse Disability Assessor. You will be provided with industry-leading training and work with an excellent team who are there to support your training and development.
What is on offer?
- Excellent starting salary at £35,000pa, increasing to £37,000pa once fully accredited
- 10% yearly bonus available equating to around £3,500
- Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm working hours
- Full time and part time available
- Hybrid working, meaning 2 days per week are office based and 3 days per week are home-based on a full time basis and varied on a part time basis
- Annual leave + bank holidays + the ability to buy or sell 10 more days
- All NMC fees paid for and revalidation support provided
What we look for;
• An NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) with 12 months + broad post-registration experience
• Someone who’s proactive and keen to learn
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Comfortable working towards individual and team targets, in a supportive environment
• Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health
What does the role involve?
The role will involve you carrying out 3 to 4 client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You’ll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits.
