HVAC Service Engineer Glasgow & Central Scotland Up to £55,000 Company Van Overtime Private Healthcare The Opportunity Strong Group are working with a well-established and highly respected HVAC contractor to recruit an experienced HVAC Service Engineer covering Glasgow and Central Scotland. Established for over 25 years, our client has built an excellent reputation within the commercial HVAC sector, delivering installation, maintenance and service solutions across air conditioning, ventilation and controls systems. Due to continued growth and an increasing portfolio of maintenance contracts, they are looking to strengthen their service team with an experienced engineer. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, fault finding and repair works on a wide range of commercial HVAC equipment. You will be working across a varied client portfolio including commercial offices, retail, healthcare, education and industrial environments. Key Responsibilities Service, maintenance and repair of VRV / VRF systems Maintenance and fault finding on split and multi-split air conditioning systems Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Reactive breakdown attendance and fault diagnosis Refrigerant leak detection and repairs Pressure testing and system commissioning F-Gas inspections and compliance checks Compressor replacements PCB, transducer and control component replacements Four-way valve replacement and repair Maintenance of AHUs and MVHR systems Fan motor, belt and filter replacements Completion of service reports and maintenance documentation Providing a high level of customer service whilst representing the business on site Candidate Requirements Essential Minimum 4 years' post-apprenticeship HVAC or Air Conditioning experience Strong fault-finding skills on VRV / VRF systems Experience working on Mitsubishi and Daikin equipment FGAS Refrigerant Handling Qualification (City & Guilds 2079) CSCS Card Full UK Driving Licence Strong communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning IPAF PASMA Manufacturer training certificates Experience working within commercial environments Package Salary up to £55,000 Company Van Paid Travel Time Overtime Available Annual Company Bonus Scheme Private Healthcare (BUPA) Workplace Pension Company Workwear 20 Days Annual Leave 9 Public Holidays Additional Annual Leave for Length of Service (up to 5 extra days) Ongoing Training & Development Long-Term Career Progression Opportunities Working Hours Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm Friday: 8:00am - 3:30pm Permanent | Full-Time Position
