Cleaner
This is a part time term time only position working 10 hours per week (Monday-Friday), 44 weeks per year.
Actual salary: £6,346.69 per annum.
Bridgwater College Academy is seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our facilities team. You will play a key role in ensuring our school is a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out general cleaning duties across the academy, including classrooms, corridors, restrooms, and communal areas.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with health and safety regulations.
* Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are used and stored safely.
* Report any maintenance or hygiene concerns to the site team.
* Work independently and as part of a team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
* Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided.
* A hardworking, reliable, and self-motivated individual.
* Ability to work to a high standard and follow cleaning procedures.
* Awareness of health and safety regulations (or willingness to learn).
* Enhanced DBS check is required.
