Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for an Internal Control and Compliance Specialist to join an international Tech business with offices in Leeds.
This is a great time to be part of a growing and fast paced business where you will play a pivotal role within the Finance team.
Reporting to the Senior Management team, your responsibilities will include:-
* Reviewing process within both finance and operations ensuring compliance with the relevant legislation
* Reviewing tax accounting processes
* Documenting accounting policy procedures, formalising reviews and reviewing and establishing a robust internal control environment
* Establishing suitable internal controls to to mitigate non-compliance and ensure processes are adaptable to business growth
Requirements
* Fully qualified Accountant, ideally ACA/ ACCA
* Experience of working within internal control and compliance and ability to implement robust internal control procedures
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work with key stakeholders across the wider business and to tight deadlines
