Job Overview
We're seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our busy, high-end furniture business. You'll be the first point of contact for our customers – providing exceptional service, handling enquiries with care, and ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to craftsmanship, quality, and warmth.
In this role, you'll respond to customer queries across phone, email, and live chat, offering helpful guidance and ensuring a seamless experience from enquiry to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond promptly to customer enquiries via phone, email, and live chat.
* Provide detailed information about our products, fabrics, and services to help customers make confident choices.
* Resolve customer issues with professionalism and empathy, maintaining our premium service standards.
* Liaise with other departments (warehouse, logistics, sales) to ensure smooth order handling and communication.
* Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and orders.
* Support the continuous improvement of our customer experience through clear feedback and teamwork.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a customer service role – retail or e-commerce experience preferred.
* Confident phone manner and excellent written communication skills.
* Fast and accurate touch typing.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* A proactive attitude, friendly personality, and genuine passion for delivering outstanding service.
* CRM experience (Salesforce or similar) is beneficial but not essential.
Hours: 37.5 per week (including Saturdays)
