In this position you will source, test, validate, and commission both digital and classic products, ensuring they are fit‑for‑purpose and maintained throughout their full product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the development and execution of an innovative digital product strategy covering LED and LCD technologies, from system design specification through integration, build, deployment, and full product lifecycle management.
* Define and maintain the product catalog, ensuring accuracy, comprehensiveness, and strategic alignment.
* Govern product lifecycles through proactive preventive maintenance (PPM), defining task frequency, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
* Monitor industry trends to keep products up‑to‑date and exploit opportunities to improve quality, reliability, and risk management.
* Manage testing, commissioning, and retrofit/upgrade activities for digital products, and develop onboarding plans for new products arising from fresh contracts.
* Maintain an auditable inspection regime, ensuring assets comply with relevant regulations, corporate standards, and best practices.
* Collaborate with internal and external technical teams to identify root‑cause issues and implement fault‑management solutions.
* Establish and oversee KPIs for product quality and performance, and update related datasets for continuous improvement.
* Develop technical processes, procedures, and standards, and produce supporting documentation for deployment and support of new and existing equipment.
* Create and deliver training courses for non‑H&S products, ensuring competency among stakeholders.
* Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and corporate colleagues, ensuring product and service quality aligns with business requirements.
Qualifications
* Extensive technical experience covering LED and LCD screen systems development, including R&D, prototyping, production, and deployment.
* Demonstrable experience in supplier identification & selection, product evaluation & validation, and full lifecycle management of technical solutions.
* Strong organisational and leadership skills, capable of inspiring and managing a team of digital and engineering professionals.
* Ability to influence and communicate technical concepts to a non‑technical audience.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organisational levels.
* Ability to prioritise complex workloads and coordinate with stakeholders.
* Analytical skills, able to interpret data to identify trends and inform solutions.
* Previous experience managing business‑critical platforms, products, and services.
* Project management experience, including problem solving, risk management, and change management.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
