Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our café team as a Café Assistant. The job would involve the preparation of food, the making of hot drinks (including the use of our coffee machine), till operation, customer service, operating the dishwasher and undertaking cleaning duties.
Key Skills:
* Consistently excellent customer service
* Working under pressure during busy lunch time periods
* Taking direction and working effectively as part of a team
* Using initiative to identify outstanding tasks and prioritise effectively
* Previous barista experience would be an advantage
* Computer skills/ till operation
Job Roles:
* Use of electronic POS to take orders
* Preparation of food and drinks
* Washing up and cleaning of café area
This job would suit
The ideal candidate will be proactive, personable and will enjoy being in a customer facing role. Food preparation and barista experience would be an advantage, but in house training will be provided.
Working Conditions
You will be working with a team to complete daily duties, small and large tasks.
This is a permanent position for 2 - 4 days per week.
Days of work to be agreed, but likely to include one weekend day per week.
Pay
Dependent on age and experience.
