Location: Carlisle Office Based covering postcodes of CA1 to CA12
Salary: £29,000 + On Call Enhancement
Job Type: Full-Time/Permanent
Hours: 30 hours per week, with on-call responsibilities 1 in 4 weeks

Job Description:
As a Senior Domiciliary Care Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our clients. This role involves a combination of community-based care and office duties, with on-call responsibilities one week out of every four, and covering holiday and sickness periods. Your main duties will include:
* Training & Shadowing within the community setting.
•Providing personal care and support to clients in their homes, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
•Administering medication as prescribed and monitoring clients' health and well-being.
•Offering emotional support and companionship to clients.
•Supervising and supporting junior care workers, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
•Conducting client assessments and developing personalized care plans.
•Liaising with healthcare professionals, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure coordinated care.
•Participating in the on-call rota, providing support outside of regular hours one week in every four.
•Covering shifts during staff holidays and sickness periods to ensure continuous care delivery.
•Undertaking office-based duties, such as scheduling, record-keeping, and reporting.
•Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
Requirements:
•Previous experience in domiciliary care or a similar role.
•Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
•Strong understanding of care standards and regulations.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to lead and motivate a team.
•Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
•Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings, with on-call duties.
•Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
•Proficiency in basic office software and administrative tasks.
