Overview
We are seeking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant to deliver tuition to accelerate students’ educational development and academic skills. This could be alongside teaching staff in the classroom, in small groups or on a one-to-one basis or alternatively by linking with the Learning Support Department. The subject area and hours are as follows:
Responsibilities
* Business and Accounting (and possibly Economics) – 36.25 hours per week (term‑time only).
* Deliver tuition to accelerate students’ educational development and academic skills.
* Work alongside teaching staff in classrooms, small groups or one‑to‑one settings.
* Coordinate with the Learning Support Department where appropriate.
Qualifications
* Graduates with a real passion for their subject.
* Good level of academic knowledge and understanding of how the specialism relates to other disciplines.
* Clear and concise communication skills.
* Appealing to those considering a career in education, either teaching or supporting learning.
