IT Support Engineer 1st & 2nd Line - Contract - Outside IR35

We're supporting an organisation in Auchterarder as they look to bring in an experienced IT Support Engineer to support a busy, customer-facing environment during a key period of work.
This is a hands-on, fully on-site contract role, ideal for a 1st- and 2nd-line support engineer who enjoys working closely with users, delivering excellent service, and supporting Windows 11 upgrade activity alongside day-to-day IT support.
Role responsibilities:
1. Acting as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, providing a friendly, professional, and high-quality support experience
2. Logging, diagnosing, and resolving incidents and service requests in line with ITIL processes, escalating to L2/L3 engineers where required
3. Providing hands-on troubleshooting across hardware, software, network, and system issues
4. Managing IT service desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with users
5. Supporting Windows 11 upgrades and general device refresh activities
6. Setting up, configuring, and maintaining laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals
7. Administering user accounts and permissions within Active Directory and Microsoft 365
