Who you'll be supporting & more about the role:
Our Support team are trained First Aid Epilepsy, Buccal Midazolam, Moving & Positioning, Administration of Medication, Catheter Care and Personal Care
We are proud of our individuality and that we are supported to promote this.
We enjoy going out in the community. We like going out for meals, the local pub and accessing activates hosted by Community Integrated Care that support our sensory needs.
We are close to a main road which has a good bus link to Widnes Town Centre, Train Stations and the M62 for Liverpool and Manchester.
We then have a waking night member of staff working from 9pm to 9am. There are also various shifts available dependent on what we are doing throughout the day.
We are looking for kind, enthusiastic individuals who are encouraging to try new adventures and support us to have the best life possible everyday.
We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience. From people with vast experience in a support worker or care assistant role, from people with lived experiences who may have friends or relatives with disabilities or have looked after older relatives, to people with no experience at all.
