We are looking to recruit a skilled Water and Environment Project Manager as part of our plan to realise growth. The role will operate as part of the Energy and Sustainable Cities Business Line and support our Project, Programme, PMO and Commercial Management Capability (P3M CM) team across the UK, Ireland and Europe.
Role Responsibilities
Contract & Commercial Delivery
* Administer NEC3/4 contracts (Options A, C & E) from the client side
* Support budget control, forecasting and defined cost planning
* Collaborate with QS teams on monthly valuations and payment certificates
* Assist in drafting contractual communications (EWNs, CE notifications, etc.)
Project Preparation
* Conduct initial scope planning and feasibility assessments
* Assist in preparation of tender documentation and evaluation of submissions
* Contribute to risk identification and mitigation strategies
* Engage early with contractors during design phases
Execution & Oversight
* Monitor project progress, cash flow and expenditure
* Support delivery through change management and variation handling
* Participate in dispute resolution and final account preparation
* Ensure appropriate record keeping and contract compliance
Business Support & Growth
* Help identify opportunities for process improvement and best practice
* Maintain project databases, visuals and supporting collateral
* Contribute to internal reporting, governance and delivery reviews

Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or master’s Degree qualification in a numeric degree
* Experience in Civil Infrastructure Engineering
* Working towards Membership of a chartered body such as APM at MAPM
* Valid CSCS card; Water Hygiene Card desirable
* Experienced user of the NEC3-4 suite of contracts (A-C-E must be known)
* Must have the right to work in the UK
* This role is subject to a client interview and acceptance
* This role requires 3 or 4 days in the client’s office (Midlands)
Location
Roles can be based at any of our major offices. Travel to client sites may be required.
