MEA Affordable Food Collective

We would particularly welcome applications from individuals who have specific experience with minute taking and could take up the role of Secretary but would welcome interest from individuals with other skills and experience.

The Affordable Food Collective is a registered charity that works with several stakeholders to improve access to nutritious food at an affordable price as well as debt and benefits advice for households who might otherwise be at risk of hunger.

The Board of Trustees are collectively responsible for setting the strategic aims and objectives of the organisation; shaping and determining the organisation’s policies in order to ensure it fulfils its charitable objects; ensuring accountability to the Affordable Food Collective members and key stakeholders; delivering good governance and ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and financial regulations in accordance with Charity and Company Law.

We are a diverse organisation and welcome expressions of interest from people of all backgrounds and experiences so if you are passionate about our work we would be delighted to hear from you.
