The Role
Assisting the Project Management team in delivering all aspects of the Project Administration required, with reference to project compliance with Kirby way, procurement, documentation, administration and good practice.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the document control of the project documents.
- Working with the Project Management team to provide project management administration and support across multiple projects at any one time.
- Establishing Project Compliance with the Kirby way.
- Providing project procurement for small miscellaneous items, consumables and plant.
- Keeping up to date key project files (electronic and hard copy) including the risk register, project programmes, drawings and technical information, and providing information as required to other teams.
- Service and setting up internal and external project meetings and taking notes to produce a timely and accurate record of proceedings.
- Collating and chasing project information, reminding team members of key deadlines and assisting with ensuring the project is delivered on time.
- Providing a central point of contact for communication of the progress of individual projects.
Requirements
- Strong administration skills.
- A can‑do and pro‑active approach to project and procurement work.
- Confident phone manner.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel, working with budget spreadsheets and cashflows.
- Ability to work on different tasks at the same time and juggle priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills for fostering good relations with staff, suppliers, funders and directors.
- Preferable previous experience within the construction industry.
- Commercially aware.
