Job summary
The University Hospital Dorset maternity service delivers approximately 4000 births a year with expanding range of high-risk obstetric services. We are looking a for an enthusiastic consultant obstetrician to join our team to provide a high-quality maternal medicine service and lead our multi-disciplinary team training to ensure we can comply with maternity incentive scheme.
This is a new post that was created on the back of the BC
The successful candidate will participate in the on-call rota. The above timetable will evolve and change through the job planning process to meet the changing needs of the service requirements for the department

Essential
1. oGMC Registration oMRCOG oCCT in O&G oAdvanced labour ward practice, maternal medicine, or high risk antenatal ATSM, CCT, oDiploma or Masters in Education

2. oSubspecialty training, MD oIntermediate Obstetric USS oCompliant with all Mandatory Training
Experience

3. oClinical training and experience in general obstetrics equivalent to that required for a UK CCST oAbility to offer acute O&G care as the resident / non-resident O&G Consultant oteaching experience

4. oEvidence of involvement in audit & research projects oEvidence of involvement in risk management oQuality Improvement projects
