AVP Business Analyst – Payments Transformation
Location: Northampton (2 days per week onsite)
Salary: Up to £60,000 + 20% bonus + excellent benefits
Our client is a leading global bank driving major change across its Payments division — building smarter, more connected systems that power digital transactions for millions of customers.
They’re looking for a hands-on Business Analyst to join the Change the Bank (CTB) team within Payments Acquiring. This is a fast-moving delivery environment focused on technology-led change, everything from new API integrations to Salesforce-enabled solutions.
You’ll play a key role in defining business requirements, translating them into functional designs, and working closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to bring new capabilities to life.
What you’ll be doing
* Leading analysis across IT change projects within the Payments business.
* Gathering, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements.
* Collaborating with engineering and product teams to deliver API integrations and system enhancements.
* Supporting solution design and ensuring delivery aligns with business goals and governance standards.
* Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams — clearly communicating priorities, trade-offs, and progress.
What you’ll bring
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst on technology or IT change projects.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — able to simplify complex ideas and build trusted relationships.
* Solid knowledge of delivery frameworks (Agile and/or Waterfall).
* Ability to analyse data, identify dependencies, and translate requirements into practical solutions.
* Strong understanding of API integrations or Salesforce platforms (highly desirable).
* Financial Services experience is an advantage
