Role Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our close-knit team on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. This is a full-time, on-site role based just outside Horsham. While this position is for a fixed term, there may be an opportunity for the role to become permanent, although this is not guaranteed. The successful candidate will support day-to-day office operations with a strong focus on query resolution, courier packing, and database management, helping ensure the smooth running of our logistics processes. This role offers hands-on experience within the import/export and freight forwarding industry, ideal for someone looking to expand their skills in a fast-paced and specialised environment. Key Responsibilities Resolve incoming queries efficiently, providing clear and professional communication to clients and partners. Carry out courier packing duties, ensuring accuracy in labelling, documentation, and dispatch preparation. Maintain and update internal databases with a high level of accuracy. Provide general administrative support to ensure seamless office operations. Assist the wider team with day-to-day logistics tasks as required. Qualifications Strong administrative skills and high attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and solve problems independently. Previous experience in a similar administrative or logistics-based role is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided.
