We are looking for hard-working, committed, and professional individuals to join our growing team as a Wellbeing Practitioner (Activities Coordinator) at The Lodge, based in Chorley.
The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.
Pay & Hours:
* Rate of Pay: £13.09 per hour
* Hours of Work: 20 hours per week
* Shift Pattern: Working to a rota covering 7 days per week (every other weekend)
The Role:
As a Wellbeing Practitioner, you will organise and plan weekly activities tailored to meet the individual needs of our service users, promoting independence and making each day as fulfilling as possible. Examples include seasonal activities such as painting an Easter egg, designing Christmas cards, arts and crafts, music & movement, gardening, and outings in the local community.
About you:
* Excellent knowledge of Customer Care
* Ability to keep accurate and detailed records
* Ability to work unsupervised and use your own initiative
* Understanding of confidentiality and its importance
* Previous experience working with vulnerable adults with Dementia (advantageous)
* Ability to work within a budget
* Experience in planning and implementing activities or events

Additional Information:
The Lodge is a specialist nursing and care home supporting individuals living with dementia, located within Buckshaw Retirement Village near Chorley. We are a ‘Not for Profit’ organisation providing care services to older people and those with learning difficulties, both residential and community-based.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
