Chichester College Group have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Lecturer in Forensic Psychology and Criminology at our Chichester College campus. You will join us on a part‑time basis and be offered a pro‑rata salary of £27,785 – £43,325 per annum (i.e. £13,892.50 – £21,662.50) for 18.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
Lecturer in Forensic Psychology and Criminology role
* Undertake teaching and learning related activities, including tutoring, as agreed.
* Prepare appropriate learning materials and ensure assessments and assignments are completed in a timely manner.
* Provide administration support and prepare reports and statistics on student and teaching matters.
* Work actively towards high student retention and success rates, meeting or surpassing relevant targets.
* Develop curricula and learning activities, taking into account literacy, numeracy, equality and diversity.
* Understand personal responsibilities in relation to Safeguarding.
* Stay current with issues, changes and policies affecting the educational sector.
* Participate in marketing activities to promote the College and attract sponsorship, advertising and positive public relations.
Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant teaching experience.
* Working knowledge of Level 3 Science & Forensic programmes.
* Degree in a relevant subject.
* A relevant teaching qualification (e.g. Certificate in Education, PGCE, Level 5 Diploma in Teaching).
* Strong time‑management and organisational skills, with a proven ability to meet targets and deadlines.
* Innovative and creative approach to meeting learner needs.
