Hiring: Fixed Income Trade Support Professional (Analyst – AVP) | Sales & Trading Floor – Banking
We are seeking a Fixed Income Trade Support professional to join a London team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. This is a front-office aligned role, sitting directly on the sales and trading floor, offering excellent exposure to fast-paced markets and close interaction with traders, sales, and other key stakeholders.
The role will provide comprehensive support to trading and sales desks covering a wide range of products, including bonds, interest rate derivatives, and FX instruments. Day-to-day responsibilities will include trade capture and verification across multiple systems (Calypso, Murex, Bloomberg, Markitwire), timely resolution of trade breaks and STP feed issues, risk monitoring to ensure adherence to internal limits, and investigation of P&L discrepancies. The role also requires generating and presenting client analytics, performing detailed data analysis in Excel, and maintaining the accuracy of trade records.
We are particularly keen to connect with candidates who have robust Repo experience, as this is central to the mandate. Knowledge of Swaps is a strong secondary advantage, and additional exposure to fixed income products will be highly valued. A good understanding of financial markets, pricing principles, and risk management is essential, as well as the ability to navigate and manage high-volume trade flows under pressure
