The Role
As our new SEN Class Teacher, you will teach a small, bespoke class of up to 6 pupils, supported by a dedicated Teaching Assistant. Your mission will be to plan, prepare, and present lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Inspiring pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative lesson presentations
* Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and professionals to maintain high educational standards
* Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, providing regular feedback
* Utilizing a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance engagement
* Creating and maintaining a safe, stimulating learning environment
* Adhering to all school policies and procedures in line with our values
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
* Proven experience in SEN teaching
* Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to every pupil's success
Please note that the successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by Polaris Community.
