The Opportunity
We’re seeking a skilled Draftsperson to join a leading engineering organisation at their Runcorn site. This permanent role offers the chance to play a key part in updating and developing critical engineering drawings during an exciting period of major investment and project delivery.

This role would suit candidates currently working as a CAD Technician, Design Draughtsperson, Piping Draughtsperson, Mechanical Draughtsperson, CAD Designer, Design Engineer, Piping Designer, Plant Layout Draughtsperson, Project Draughtsperson, or Drawing Office Technician.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
Maintain and update engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with internal standards and procedures.
Manage the drawing register within the Vault system and act as the primary point of contact for its use.
Liaise with EPC contractors to ensure drawings meet required standards and are correctly stored.
Produce and revise P&ID and PFD drawings for new and existing projects in collaboration with engineering teams.
Create piping isometric drawings and specifications to support maintenance and project activities.You will have the following qualifications and experience
Proficiency in CAD software with experience producing and updating P&ID and PFD drawings.
Knowledge of piping isometric drafting and basic mechanical design principles.
Familiarity with drawing management systems, ideally Vault.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
