* Job Title: Resident Doctor – CriticalCare Level 3 Units
* Location: The Harbourne Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK Private patient hospital group.
* Contract Type: 1 or 2 years Salaried.
* Shifts/Pattern of work: Typically, most doctors prefer 1 x 24-hour shift per week or 2 x 12-hour shifts. Full-time options are also available. Rota planning is done well in advance, offering flexibility to accommodate other commitments.
We have an exceptional career opportunity for Critical Care/ Anaesthetic trained and airways trained SPR ST4+ Doctors to join our Resident Doctors team.

Your primary role as a Resident Doctor:
* This is a consultant-led organization where you will support the daily operations of Critical Care Ward and ICU units, managing medical care from admission to discharge.
* Independently managing the medical care of inpatients, including clerking new admissions (planned and unplanned), conducting daily ward rounds, and responding to emergencies.
* Performing medical procedures as required, such as vascular access, airway management, ultrasound use, ventilation management, and other procedures like chest/abdominal drain insertion or lumbar puncture.
* Participating in ward multidisciplinary team activities, audits, and training for continuous improvement.
Applicants must be:
* Fully registered with the GMC with a current license to practice.
* NHS-trained in Intensive Care Medicine or Anaesthesia to ST4+ level or equivalent.
* Competent in managing complex airways independently and capable of training others.
* Experienced in teaching and mentoring junior doctors.
