Support Officer - Early Years Entitlements (EYE) Team
We are seeking a Support Officer to join the Early Years Entitlements (EYE) team. This role involves supporting childcare providers in delivering early years entitlements and assisting families across Lincolnshire to maximize their entitlements. Join our dedicated team in a position that offers variety, challenges, and the chance to make a positive impact on young children in Lincolnshire.
Due to recent changes in UK immigration law, we are unable to offer skilled worker visa sponsorship for this role as it does not meet the requirements of RQF Level 6. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, enjoy working with data, and be capable of completing funding claims accurately and on time each month. We are looking for a self-motivated team player who is passionate about early years education.

3. Maintain accurate information on childcare provision across the county for auditing purposes, including running queries and verifying data.
4. Conduct virtual and face-to-face audits to ensure compliance with EYE funding requirements, as directed by the Lead Consultant (EYE).
5. Support general administrative and clerical duties, including report writing, data reporting, and handling queries from parents and providers.
This role requires attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to react and adapt daily. Building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders is essential, along with strong communication skills to provide careful and considered responses.
A good working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel is beneficial. The post holder must have a driving license with access to a car, be able to travel across the county, and work in a timely and flexible manner to meet service needs. Some travel will be required.
