Our client, a highly successful and recognized business, is currently looking for a Payroll Bureau Administrator to join the Payroll Bureau department in Woking, Surrey. Hybrid working available.
Job Description
As the Payroll Bureau Administrator, you will be responsible for key responsibilities: This is a client-focused payroll position that offers payroll professionals varied and diverse opportunities to undertake an entire payroll process from start to finish for a portfolio of clients. Overall, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of annual, monthly, quarterly, or weekly payrolls.
* Accurate processing of client payrolls
* Support the onboarding process agreed with clients and set up payrolls in the system
* Implementation of new payrolls and procedures
* Assist with training and supporting junior payroll administrators
* Assist with the implementation and rollout of quality control checks and system enhancements
The Successful Applicant
* Experience working within a Payroll Bureau is highly desirable
* General payroll experience is required
* CIPP technician qualification is preferable but not essential; practical experience will also be considered
* Strong IT skills including MS Office and databases
* Experience with STAR/Iris or PayCircle is preferred but not essential
* Full knowledge of current legislation
* Good understanding of BACS payments, time frames, and processes
