What you'll do:
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape, develop and work with the Registered Manager to manage an Ofsted regulated Children's Home in Fareham, Hampshire. The homes consist of facilities to support and improve the lives of up to four children aged between 10 : 17 who may have experienced trauma. Working within our Model of Care : Pillars of Parenting, we focus on each child's individual strengths to support them to develop and achieve positive outcomes. With support, children will experience the skill and expertise of Children's Services framework of trauma informed therapeutic intervention with the goal of reuniting the child with their family or supporting their transition to independence.
As a Deputy Manager, you will support the management of the home in accordance with the statutory requirements and guidance for Childrens Homes, as well as contributing to the wider work of Hampshire County Councils childrens residential service.
Youll work alongside a team of Team Supervisors and Childrens Home Support Workers, as well as a range of other professionals to keep children in our care safe, support any health needs, to engage in education and make progress against their care plans.
