Job Description
Contract 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer – Hybrid – Wokingham – £150–£200/day (DOE)
We’re currently working with a growing tech-focused organisation in Wokingham who are looking for an experienced 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer to join on an initial 3-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.
This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week on-site, and would suit someone confident supporting end-users in a fast-paced environment with a strong grasp of Microsoft technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1st and 2nd line support to internal users across hardware, software, and cloud environments
* Troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, and Exchange
* Set up and maintain end-user devices, ensuring smooth onboarding/offboarding processes
* Log, manage and resolve tickets efficiently through the service desk system
* Work closely with the wider IT team to escalate complex issues and support ongoing projects
Requirements:
* Strong experience in a 1st / 2nd line support role
* Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, and Exchange (essential)
* Good problem-solving and communication skills
* Comfortable working independently and on-site 3 days per week in Wokingham
* Available to start immediately or on short notice

* Day Rate: £150–£200/day
* Length: Initial 3 months, with high potential for extension
* Location: Wokingham (Hybrid – 3 days on-site)
