Overview of the role
We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead the team and make a difference at our Old Marston Road branch in Oxford.
This community pharmacy is close to the centre of Oxford and has excellent public transport links available. It has a good relationship with the local GP, we are looking for a pharmacist manager who can further develop and strengthen this.
Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality community pharmacy services.
* Strengthen relationships with local general practitioners to support collaborative patient care.
* Provide and oversee a range of services including BP, ABPM, NMS, contraception, weight management, Covid, Flu & Pharmacy First.
* Support and manage the daily operations of the branch, ensuring patient safety and service standards.
* Attend to responsibilities as a Pharmacy Manager across the site and contribute to the ongoing development of pharmacy services.
The Ideal Candidate
* Must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and have management experience.
* GPhC registration required on start date.
* Strong leadership and people management skills with focus on delivering the best patient experience.
* Wellbeing and mental health awareness mindset is valued.

We can offer consistent rotas and geographical coverage that suits you. You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits. We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers. We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing, which is why we’ve put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
Work pattern and hours
The 49.25 hour contract is based on the following work pattern:
Week 1: Monday - Friday
Week 2: 4 days + Saturday
Open hours: 8:30 - 18:30 Monday - Friday; 09:00 - 17:30 Saturday.
