Challenging Behaviour Management: Effectively manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours in a calm and professional manner, promoting a safe and supportive environment. Mental Health Support: Work closely with individuals facing mental health challenges, offering emotional support, and assisting in accessing appropriate mental health services. Learning Difficulties Support: Help individuals with learning difficulties in daily activities, fostering independence and promoting skill development. Collaborative Approach: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies, to ensure a holistic and integrated support plan. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of support provided, incidents, and individual progress. Generate reports as required. Promoting Independence: Encourage and enable individuals to develop and maintain their independence, making choices about their lives and participating in community activities. A full UK driving license and access to a car is essential for the role.
