Lecturer in Maths
V1059 – Salary: £30,427 - £42,136 pa (Grade 3 – 4). Full‑time and part‑time opportunities are available for a permanent role. Enhanced leave: 39 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
About the Role
Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to GCSE Maths re‑sitters or lower ability learners. Where required, also deliver Functional Skills Maths and Core Maths classes. Recognise and address barriers to learning while building positive relationships with students to unlock their potential. Contribute to collaborative planning, resource development and student monitoring. Create a safe, positive, and motivating learning environment for students who may have faced perceived failures in English.
Key Requirements
* A teaching qualification with experience teaching GCSE/FS Maths.
* A strong understanding of the challenges and barriers learners may face.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships and maximise learner engagement and progress.
